Metformin Side Effects
There are a few different ways of treating Type 2 Diabetes, some methods are used collaboratively while others are used individually. Metformin is one medication used to treat Type 2 Diabetes but there are Metformin side effects that sometimes come along with use of the drug. As you know Type II Diabetes is a condition in which the body doesn’t use insulin normally, and as a result cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood. Metformin is a drug which helps to control the amount of glucose in your blood. As would any drug, Metformin has it’s possible side effects. Stomach pain, decreased appetite and rapid breathing or shortness of breath are all Metformin side effects. Other Metformin side effects include: lightheadedness, feeling cold, nausea, vomiting and a fast or slow heartbeat. Extreme tiredness is another metformin side effect.
