Sony has revealed the new PS3 Slim to stores and it is very popular with fans worldwide. Even though it’s called Slim, the name isn’t significant of it being less. In fact, the PS3 Slim has a 2.5 inch serial ATA hard drive with 120 GB of storage-space and getting ready for a 250 GB PS3 Slim soon. This play Station player is excellent for gaming or for watching your favorite Blu-ray movies and for playing cds and dvds. Other features are built-in Wi-Fi, an AC power cord, an AV cable and USB cable and a DualShock 3 Wireless Controller. In addition, the PS3 Slim features HDMI output allowing it to output video at the crystal clear 1080p resolution.

The PC3 Slim weighs 3.2 kg and fits in with a contemporary décor and goes perfectly with a LCD flat-screen TV monitor. It is about 30% quieter than its predecessor and uses 33% less power. The PS3 Slim is available in a matte black finish unlike the smooth, glossy surface of the original PlayStation. And with other features such as connectivity to the internet, increased storage space, in-built web browser and free online gaming, the PS3 Slim has something that few consoles have. And being able to play Blue-ray discs in high-definition makes it more appealing. At a $300.00 price-tag, it’s worth the investment.
