AT&T is introducing a new smartphone to the market – the BlackBerry Curve 8520. It features a full QWERTY keyboard with a touch-sensitive trackpad. There’s also a built-in Wi-Fi, advanced media player with dedicated media keys as well as a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. Other features are a 320 x 240 display, a 512 MHz processor and 256 MB of flash memory.

Like other Wi-Fi BlackBerry smartphones from AT&T, the Curve 8520 users can receive unlimited access to more than 20,000 US hotspots for no additional cost. Outside of the US however, AT&T provides wireless voice coverage in more than 215 countries and wireless data coverage in 185 plus countries. Users are able to edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files with the Curve 8520 by using the Data Viz Documents to Go Suite. It’s also available preloaded with Facebook and MySpace applications. Just in time for the holidays, the Blackberry Curve 8520 will be available for $99.99 after a $100.00 rebate.
