Sony Ericsson Introduces the XPERIA X10
Sony Ericsson is well known for being a top market designer in the cell phone industry; however they have not been as visible with their smartphones as their other competitors – Apple, HTC and Samsung. They’ve been missing Android support which is what they now have in the new XPERIA X10. The Smartphone is the Sony Ericsson’s top device and will ship with Android 1.6. However, it’s still behind the Motorola DROID, Android 2.0 already on the market.

The XPERIA X10 has an attractive touch panel, a “UX” user-experience, a 8.1 MP camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, lots of built-in social networking and a 4” LCD with a 854 x 480 resolution. The phone is expected sometime, in selected markets, in the first quarter of 2010, but the price-tag is not yet available. The colors are sensuous black and luster white. Other features that grab your attention are – music, Web (google search), communication (SE Timescape), messaging, design, entertainment, organizer, location-based services, connectivity, preloaded applications and the 4” 262,144 TFT touchscreen. It weighs 135 grams, includes a 8 GB memory card and measures 119 x 63 x 13 mm. For loyal Sony Ericsson users, it’s certainly a device to look forward to owning.
