Contents of Michael Jackson’s Will Revealed – Reports from TMZ state that Michael Jackson’s will have been filed and he named his mother, Katherine, as guardian of his three children. If she preceded him in death or was unable to serve, he requested Diana Ross.

The five page will leaves his entire estate to his family trust, the contents of which remain confidential. He names John Branca, John McClain and Barry Siegel as co-executors of his will; however Barry Siegel gave up his role in 2003. Branca and McClain released the following statement: “The most important element of Michael’s will is his unwavering desire that his mother, Katherine, become the legal guardian for his three children.” Initial reports indicated that Michael’s family was unaware of the existence of a will.

Michael did not state where he wanted to be buried. Plans have not been finalized regarding Jackson’s funeral or memorial services. The singer’s hometown of Gary, Indiana is requesting that his body be sent there. According to Mayor Rudy Clay: “It would be a memorial that’s fit for the prince of peace and a memorial that’s fit for Gary, Indiana’s favorite son, the greatest entertainer that’s ever lived.” There is also talk of a memorial service at the Neverland Ranch; however, nothing is definite at this point and many questions remain unanswered.
