This iPhone application called Tap of War is marketed by Spokko. It is a freely downloadable application that is cool enough to make your tapping worthwhile. The application has a deceptive edge to it. Apparently simple, it is a storehouse of unlimited fun. The user will find a couple of flags and a rope on his screen along with two ‘tap’ buttons. There are lines on the top and bottom of your screen to specify your goal. When you tap the button, the rope along with the flag that is similar in color, inches nearer to the goal line. If the player manages to get his flag across the line, he wins. If the player opposite to you manages to get his flag across the line you stand to lose.

In this iPhone app, the user can choose either the single player or versus mode. This entails that you can play against a person or a built-in finger opponent. Be careful, you might easily get deceived by the simplicity of the application. In the first few rounds, the movements of your fingers are initially tested. In the mid levels, you may well land up with finger cramps! This high-scoring game is made further interesting through the symbolism of the wagers like ‘loser buys drinks’ etc.
