Natasha Richarson | Natasha Richardson Dies at 45
Natasha Richardson Dies at 45 – Natasha Richardson, Tony award winning actress, died Wednesday after a skiing accident on Monday at a Quebec resort about 80 miles northwest of Montreal. She was 45.
Ms. Richardson was taking a beginner’s ski lesson when she fell. She wasn’t wearing a helmet but didn’t hit anything or anyone, a resort spokeswoman said. “She didn’t show any signs of injury. She was talking and she seemed all right.” Ski patrol took her back to the bottom of the slopes and insisted that she see a doctor. However, about an hour after returning to hotel, she complained of “not feeling good”. She was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to Hopital du Sacre-Coeur in Montreal; and from there she was transferred to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
