Michael Jackson announced his final performances in London
The King of Pop claimed he would do 10 shows at London’s 02 Arena which seats 20,000, but with the great demand 40 dates have been added! Ticketmaster’s managing director, Chris Edmonds, said they had witnessed an “unprecedented level of demand” for the concerts. Well this IS Michael Jackson we’re talking about here! He hasn’t hit the stage in years and has millions of fans all across the world, hundreds crying over him. The guy is a legend! I know an MJ fan who said that if she had to see one last man before she died it would be him! Now that’s a bit much but it just goes to show how much people love Michael. From his smooth moon walk, replicated on so many different levels, to his soulful heal-the-world lyrics and sultry sounds, Michael is probably the pop artist with the most power.

Tickets to see the King of Pop went on sale Friday Mar. 13th
Jackson hasn’t recorded a studio album since “Invincible”, which was his 10th solo record back in 2001. His last major series of concerts was a world tour to promote the “HIStory” album in 1996 and 1997. Jackson grew up a child star performing with his brothers in the Jackson Five. He went on to enjoy stellar solo success with classic albums like “Thriller” and “Bad”. Ever since he was acquitted in 2005 on child molestation charges in the U.S. he has rarely been seen in public. As far as his Neverland Ranch goes, everything is pretty much up for auction. The ranch has been closed down with items up for bid. Since selling his Neverland ranch a year ago MJ has spent much of his time since his acquittal living in Bahrain. Jackson is estimated to have sold more than 750 million albums in total. If you’re trying to be at his last tour “This is It” you should be purchasing your tickets rather than reading this post cause they are obviously selling FAST!!
