DISQUS – The Comment Tool

This item was filled under [ Blogger, Blogger Templates ]

Recently, a reader has point out a shortcoming of some blogger templates. Some custom blogger templates have no option for adding Inline comments. :(

Inline comments section has WordPress like comment form, lying below the post body. It replaces the conventional “Post a comment” link for Blogger (BlogSpot) Blogs. Inline comments are better than regular comment forms, because their visibility prompt users to provide feedback. :)

But, Blogger.com lacks a lot of things to offer interactivity of blogs and of course comment section is one of this. I would strongly recommend all of Blogger users to opt Disqus.

Disqus is an independent comment tool, which can be easily integrated with Blogger(BlogSpot) Blogs. By using Disqus, you can implement inline comment box in all templates.

Your readers can post comments easily and you can manage them with a greater ease too. You can have a community for your blogs.

Disqus also offers great features for blog readers as well. They can track their comments from one point and can post replies too.  Hence, they don’t need to visit all the blogs to check and reply comment threades. :)

The integration of Disqus with Blogger is very easy, You don’t need to be an expert in coding etc. Simple Copy + Paste will do your job. You can retain your previous comments as well.

Moreover, Disqus supports WordPress, Tumblr, MovableType & more.

Try Disqus. It is Free!

Read the instructions, there are some changes you need to make in the back end of your blog for it to work.
