Selena Quintanilla Perez, She was born in Texas on 16 April 1971. She was known as ‘ The ‘Queen of Tejano’ She bagan singing at age of nine. She became a star in Mexico and Latin America. She was known as “the Mexican Madonna”
In 1995 Selena began recording her first English-language album, Dreaming of You. She was married Christopher Perez, a guitarist in her band, on 2 April 1992. But on March 31st 1995 she was murdered by Yolanda Saldivar, the founder of the Selena fan club and manager of Selena’s clothing boutiques.There were 60.000 people on her funeral,most of them were out of United States.
Selena was played by Jennifer Lopez in 1997 the name of the film Selena. Her greatest hits album, Ones, was released in 2002.

I love Selena……..When I saw the movie, heard her music, I felled in love.She is my role model.I was 4 years old when i had found out about Selena.
