Lotro Error 80001 – SSL Certificate – The Lord of The Ring Online players having trouble while logging in lotro. Lotro shows the error 80001 which says :

The SSL certificate appears to be expired.
Please ensure your system clock is to the correct time and try again. [ERROR 80001]

Aftering searching on forums about lotro error 80001, i have found a way to solve this error. Since SSL certificate has expired lotro staff must renew the SSL certificate but you may not want to wait till they renew the SSL certificate. Here the solution :

The simplest way to solve Lotro Error 80001 : Just set your computer’s date a few days behind and then try to log in again. You won’t see any Lotro Error 80001 error and the lotro system will let you log in to The Lord of The Ring Online.
