Air and Simple Gifts
Based on Wikipedia, Air and Simple Gifts is a classical quartet by American composer John Williams composed just for the January 20, 2009 inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States.
This awesome piece was first performed at the inauguration in Washington, D.C. by Anthony McGill, Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma and Gabriela Montero. After this piece was performed, a lot of classical music fanatics are now looking for free MP3 downloads, WMA downloads and other music file downloads for the said piece.
It was the first classical quartet to be performed at a presidential inauguration and It was performed immediately prior to Obama taking the oath of office. Barack Obama officially became the President while the piece was being performed.
