I heard this is not worth it. Saw people on ebay budding over $127. Strange since you can just search for it and find it much cheaper. Save your money and get something of quality.

I plan on getting one to replace my TV. Sounds weird, I suppose, but I can’t personally justify buying a big flat screen when I can accomplish the same thing for 1/10 the price and 1/20 the energy use.

Question: what about the fan? I’ve been told the fan can be very loud, and that they tend to overheat if you watch 2 movies back-to-back (that’s about the amount of time it would be used daily). From someone that has used one, how would you rate those issues?

it is worth it. but like all projectors you have to be in dark or very dim lit room and projected on flat white wall

I read and read and read alot of bad reviews on this projector.. yes infact its not top of the line but I LOVE it!!!!! you will need a dark room of course, but if you have that.. u have a cheap projector… the color is great.. its not the brightest,,,it is a little fuzzy,, but read on.. there are small fixes for that such as buy a bulb with a more concentrated beam,,, for the money i give it 2 thumbs up!! My screen is an old style retractable that i cut off and tacked to the wall.. the picture is about 4 foot by 4 foot,, maybe bigger… you can see the pixels,, but if you sit far away,,,, just like any other tv… you cant see them… if you can buy it cheap…. go for it… i love it especcially it was cheap… i hope this helps some folks….best bet… buy a cheap screen… thrift store,, or buy the screen paint…
