  Okay so i just recieved a Plenio VXA 3000 unit. Ive been having a few problems with it that i cant explain and was hoping that perhaps you can help me out and give me your take on some of them. First off, aparently with in the box, each Unit should come with a CD rom of some kind. What its for, i dont know but all i know is my Unit never came with one. Another thing i found odd that the unit did not come with was a Manuel. I went onto their very hidden website and found that the Manuel had to be downloaded. Thats fine as long as i have the manuel. Another thing i found odd was that it didnt come with an outlet charger just a cigarette lighter charger with your car. Im not sure if i have to buy it seperately from the company or what but the company doesnt seem to provide accesories for any of their Units. They dont seem to have an official website either which kind of bothers me. Any ways so some of the problems ive been having with the Unit is that every time i unplug my unit from the car cable, it completely shuts off. Now mind you, i did leave it on the charger cable through out the day as i drove. So i would of at least expected for the unit to be completely charged if not semi charged but again it just completely shuts off and doesnt seem to want to run off of its own power. So this is what i need to know. Does this unit carry its own built in battery power that is rechargable? Or does it NEED to stay on the car charger at all times? I at least would of figure that you would have the opertunity to use it as a hand held concidering that it does have a padestrian option mode for travel. Not to mention, it doesnt seem to have a battery life meter. Ive been tinkering with it and cant seem to find one. Another thing, the unit aparently comes with a 2GB SD card. I uploaded about 3 small video clips (MPEG’s) onto the card and tested them out on the actual unit. Well it seems the when i play the videos, it lags really badly. It also seems to loop its self over and over again and leaves me with absolutely no controll over it. I try and hit the stop button on the touch screen but nothing happens. It just completely freezed on me and keeps going. I cant even exit out of the video mode. Ive tried to upload full movies onto the card but it doesnt seem to let me. Im not sure if the 2GB worth of memory are enough for a full movie and if i need to purchase a bigger one for the unit? As for the upgrades, ive gone to the companys website and uploaded all the most recent upgrades onto my card as instructed. I slip the card back into the unit and go to Settings and then hit OS upgrade. When i click yes on upgrade, the unit doesnt seem to want to read the upgrades that are saved on the SD card directly from the site. It just rejects it. I would expect for it to read it with out a problem since it is straight from the upgrade site. And as far as maps go. It is to my understanding that Maps are able to be uploaded onto your card. Where can i find those map uplaods? Hope you can answer my questions. Thanks
