Why do none of the links on this page work? They all return a page saying “sorry, that page could not be found”.
We were up until 3am last night applying this patch to nearly 1000 servers. Haven’t seen this much panic since the last time the soda machine ran out of Mountain Dew. Thankfully WSUS was there to assist
When I installed this I couldn’t access any websites at all. I then reset my PC back to the time before this patch – internet is back – as you can see with this comment!
since these automatic updates have been unable to log in.attempts to login then goes straight to logging off saving your settings.
any ideas would be welcome
Nov. 19, 2008: No links to fixes previously posted before this time-stamp are available because the auto-bot malware exploit out of China is Microsofts worst nightmare ever! This is a ZERO-DAY VIRUS and people have known about it since October 2008. Its sounds ludicrous but Microsoft has stopped pretending to be responsible in helping find a real patch for commercial and domestic users worldwide. This thing is ominous and Microsoft is busy going through several pair of underwear a day!
